The New Home Inspection

We've all heard of "buyers' remorse". Well, you can relax and not worry about that home you've found once you schedule a New Home Inspection with a qualified Home Inspector. You like the looks of the home and it "feels" just right. You have agreed on a price and now you need the security of an expert opinion about the home.

In Virginia all new homes are built to meet Code, and a One Year Warranty is included. Yes, this is correct. However, do you realize that the Building Code is the "... minimum building code requirements for the state of Virginia". In many local counties, one inspector does the complete process of code approval for a new home. Therefore, the actual minimum quality of the home has been checked by only one county employee!

The builder of the home and the realtors involved are all honest people and you are comfortable with them. An informed buyer is a wise buyer so you must use the expertise available to put the house under a microscope (so to speak) to find any weakness that may have been overlooked.

A home inspection report will reveal the current condition of the home and guide you in making a decision on any potential expenses that could be necessary after purchasing.
